First Day of School 2022
Today’s learners are tomorrow’s leaders. Starting school is a very important and special time for all students and their families. We work hard to make sure every student feels welcomed and known. We want all learners to feel a strong sense of connectedness to the school community even before their first day in the school.
A Smooth Transition
During our comprehensive transition program we will get to know and build relationships with each child to ensure that they feel relaxed and comfortable before their first day at school. Please check the flyer below for information about this years Transition program.
Our Community: What a squad!
We are very proud of our school community. We are a diverse group of people who all share a common interest in learning. We have immense gratitude for the relationships that are formed and sustained through teh school. We don’t want to underestimate the importance of the conncetions we have and we look forward to welcoming every student into the school.
Best Always: A culture of excellence
Our motto of best always points towards our belief that all students deserve excellence in both teaching and learning. We are a community of learners dedicated to continous improvement and we strive to deliver excellent outcomes for all. In recent years we have been pleased with outstanding acheivement data and have been recognised for outstadning student growth in NAPLAN in both reading and mathematics.
Literacy & Numeracy: Our building blocks
We recognise the importance of early literacy and numeracy skills to achieve lasting educational and life success. Explicit Literacy and Numeracy lessons are delivered everyday. A rigourous assessment and support program ensures that every child receives the comprehensive support they need to achieve their learning potential.
We believe curiosity supercharges learning! We want to help all learners explore their environment, devour books and information, ask questions, investigate concepts, manipulate data, search for meaning, connect with people and nature, and seek new learning experiences. Curiosity is the key in many ways and can lead to happiness and meaning. Our learning environment is built to nutrure children’s natural interests and lead them to a love of lifelong learning.
